"The D-Rose" is a chopped cheese sandwich with the heart of New York and the soul of Chicago.

Originally inspired by Rose's tenure with the New York Knicks, my Chicago chopped cheese sandwich is made with giardiniera seasoned chuck then griddled and chopped with onions, @jpgraziano giardiniera, and American cheese. It's topped with @haroldschickencorp mild sauce mayo, lettuce, and tomato on a seeded hoagie roll.

Rose is one of my favorite athletes of all time. He was the rose that grew from the Chicago concrete to become the youngest MVP in league history and brought Chicago hope for the first time since MJ retired.

This is my homage to the legend, and It's only fitting for us to bring back the sandwich on the eve that his number rises to the UC rafters.
