Sup, I’m Billy Z
I'm a passionate home cook and baker from Chicago with a deep love for pizza and sandwiches. In 2021, I was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. After losing my ability to play basketball, I traded my jersey in for an apron and decided to use my culinary creations as a way to advocate and fundraise for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Fueled by my namesake pizza, “The Tripping Billy”, I’ve done over 50 collaborations with Chicago restaurants and bars, raising over $47,000 since November of 2021.
